Surrounded by small woods in the valley of Armançon, Lac de Pont is located near the small French community of Pont-et-Massène in central France. The lake is more than just a recreational area for residents and visitors, however, as it also serves as a reservoir for drinking water. A popular place for swimming and relaxing in summer, the area around Lac de Pont has been redesigned.

The landscape architects JDM Paysagistes planned the reconstruction of the lakeside – with inviting seating facilities for sunbathing with a view of the lake, play areas for children, and paths for lakeside walks.

Olivio luminaires with their wooden poles blend beautifully into the natural environment, ensuring harmonious lighting. Wooden Elo bollards also guarantee sustainable development of the area around Lac de Pont.

  • The organic design of Olivio and its functional versatility due to the modular design of this luminaire family is inspired by role models from nature. As a result Olivio forms the basis for light concepts in urban living areas where the focus is on the well-being of people. Olivio luminaire heads are available in the sizes Grande, Medio and Piccolo and can be combined with various arms and pole types from the three design lines Sistema, Floracion and Candelabra. Yet it is not just the design that can be adapted individually according to the situation – various optics and light colours from 2,700 to 4,000 Kelvin also cater for challenging lighting tasks efficiently and without glare: from illumination of paths and squares, floodlighting of façades and accent lighting of buildings. The new Olivio Cap also reduces light scatter and for special requirements, with its camera and loudspeaker modules, Olivio can be integrated into smart application scene. The special wooden-pole aesthetic emphasizes the Olivio's high quality, organic luminaire design. Combined with luminaire heads in a harmonoius colour tone such as bronze, this results in a timelessly comforting spatial ambience.
  • First came bollards, columns, and wall-mounted luminaires, then there were Elo pole-mounted luminaires. Currently, the Elo family is a holistic system for pure light around buildings. Selux is now adding a pole-mounted luminaire design variant with a circular roof to lend it a classical form, further enabling lighting applications close to buildings from a single system. Whether used for footpaths, entrance areas, or local roads, Elo will emit light that is harmonious in any situation, serving as an elegant beacon to provide security and guidance. Besides the high-quality light and efficiency of the Tritec optic, the design of these slim, cylindrical luminaires never fails to impress aesthetically. The minimalist design language blends graciously into the widest variety of styles and architectural surroundings, while still being capable of setting intensive highlights. Premium-quality materials and durable finishes ensure the Tritec optics’ attractive appearance is preserved for the long term.
