Nowa­days, effi­cient illu­mi­na­tion of roads often has to per­form seve­ral tasks and fulfil seve­ral expecta­ti­ons simul­ta­neously: safety needs, energy effi­ci­ency and design qua­lity. The Dis­cera in the capi­tal of the Drôme dépar­te­ment in France is a per­fect example of this.

Part of the selux range of trans­port lumi­nai­res, the Dis­cera comes in three dif­fe­rent sizes with five dif­fe­rent high-per­for­mance reflec­tors. Its range of appli­ca­ti­ons is almost limit­less.

    Discera

    The Discera luminaire family with its timeless design looks visually calm and balanced. Her familiar appearance blends pleasantly into the respective street scene. They are available in two sizes (400, 600) and two light colors (3000K, 4000K). The efficient asymmetric light distribution is achieved through the combination of Zhaga-compliant LED modules and free-form lens optics. All sizes can be combined with a variety of brackets to single and multiple candelabras. In addition, they can also be used via transverse bracing as suspended lights.
