Light should foster well-being. Yet too much light or incorrect light becomes a strain on the environment, a waste of energy, and creates light pollution. As a manufacturer, Selux can contribute to reducing light smog by means of dark sky-conforming luminaires. Legislators are also becoming active in this area: in various regions of Italy strict regulations on lighting in public spaces have long been in place, while France is now acting with a law on the “prevention, reduction and limitation of light pollution”. A most welcome step!
